60 lamas awarded academic degrees in Beijing (II)

Photo taken on the afternoon of May 20, 2015 shows the High-level Tibetan Buddhism College of China is holding an awarding ceremony for the 11th advanced and the third intermediate degrees of Tibetan Buddhism as well as the third sutra teacher qualification certificate in the Xihuang Temple, Beijing, capital of China. A total of 60 monks this year obtain the advanced and intermediate degrees as well as the sutra teacher title. Up to now, 121 lamas have been awarded with the "Tho Ram Pa" advanced degree, 112 with the "Nzhing Ram Ba" intermediate degree, and 68 with the sutra teacher title.
